E-Shoot

A relatively new addition to my photography coverage is the ‘engagement shoot’, also known as the pre-wedding shoot or e-shoot.

Here’s a few reasons, why you may consider an engagement shoot.

To get to know your photographer
So you’ve met me and liked my portfolio enough to want to book me. I’ve described my style to you and you may have seen some of the results from previous weddings, but until you see the camera on your wedding day, you’re not entirely sure what I’m going to be like.

Enter the engagement shoot – We will travel to a location nearby and create some fantastic, quirky, maybe crazy photos of the two of you. Perhaps you’d like to bring a few of your favourite outfits to change into? Most prefer just relaxing in casuals, allowing the natural fun mood of the day to trickle into the photos.

Now on your wedding day you’ll know that a) you’re going to look good in the pictures and b) you get on well with me, you’ve got ‘rapport’ as the techies call it.

What else?

To make very cool wedding stationery
Book your engagement session early enough and you can use the photos for your save the date cards, or wedding invitations.

To get some good pictures before there’s three of you
After a wedding, the next time most people hire a professional photographer is when the patter of tiny feet can be heard. But there was a part of your family story before that happened and an engagement session is a great way to record that time.

Just for fun
Ultimately, it’s a fun day out, and a unique way to spend a couple of hours.
