Manisha & Neil celebrated their Sagai (Engagement) yesterday on the 30th of August 2009.
I have known Manisha for over 6 years and Neil and I have grown up together since we were little kids.
It was a pleasure to be able to capture this day for the both Manisha & Neil, so that they can keep the memories of the day forever.

Earlier this month I posted a few images from the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity – Dinner & Dance.
While only a few images were displayed in that post, I was busy creating a slideshow, with all the images from the day.
Don’t blink, each image isn’t on the screen for very long!!
I took these back in 2007, as part of the entry to a photo competition, held on the Lexus Owners Club UK forum.
The rules were simple. All you had to do was to follow the theme title ‘Lexus at night’.
An evening of dinner and dance, held at Masti Banqueting, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity was held on the 28th of March 2009.
Initially, the venue had been booked to seat 200 people, but as the tickets were sold out in under 48 hours the organisers had to quickly respond to the massive interest and stretch the venue capability to it’s bursting limit of 350. All tickets were all sold out in less than 10 days, for what was to be one of the best fund raising parties of the year.

Last month I purchased the Canon EF 135mm F2.0L USM lens.
It’s firmly attached to the 5D, and produces astounding results! The full frame sensor of the 5D gives this prime lens the space to breath!
I need to get this lens out and give it a real world work-out. But for now I’m super happy with what it’s produced. Can’t wait to try it on faces and see how the portraits look.

Earlier this year, some of you may remember, I joined Nilima & Amit for their pre-wedding ceremonies.
I was going through their images this afternoon and found that I hadn’t blogged a few which I actually quite liked (not sure how I missed these in the first place).
So in this very short blog post I thought i’d do them justice and let you all see.

On the 2nd of August 2009 I had the pleasure of photographing Naina & Prashant in celebrating their Chandlo at Bushy Country Club.
I would like to say thank you to them both for a lovely day, I had lots of fun.
You guys rock! 
I was very impressed to find that my Canon Powershot G10, could produce results like this.
It really shows that with the aperture wide open, the bokeh (blur) is fairly smooth for something this small.
I may start posting more images taken with my G10 as I become more familiar with it’s capability.
